Enabling Support for Individual Products in Smart Support – WooCommerce
With the Smart Support – WooCommerce add-on, you can configure per-product support rules. This means you decide which products come with support, how long support lasts, and whether limits apply to tickets.
This is especially useful if you want to:
- Offer support only for specific products.
- Limit support by time period or ticket count.
- Require license validation before customers can open tickets.

How to Enable Product-Specific Support

Navigate to Products

In your WordPress Dashboard, go to:
WooCommerce → All Products.

Edit a Product

Hover over the product you want to configure.

Click Edit to open the product details page.

Locate Product Data Section
-
Scroll down to the Product data box.

Select the General tab.

Configure Support Settings (see image below):

Enable Support:
Check this box to allow customers to create support tickets for this product. -
Support Period (Days):
Set how many days after purchase support is available.-
Example:
30= support for 30 days. -
Use
0for unlimited support.

Max Tickets per Customer:
Limit how many tickets each customer can raise for this product.-
Example:
2= only 2 tickets allowed per customer. -
Use
0for unlimited tickets.

Require License Key:
Enable this option if customers must provide a valid license key when submitting tickets. -
Default Priority Level:
Choose the default priority for tickets related to this product (Low,Normal,High, etc.). -
Custom Ticket Form:
Add custom form fields (in JSON format) to collect additional product-specific information.

Save Changes

Scroll down and click Update to save your product settings.
