How to Install & Activate Smart Support – WP Helpdesk & Ticket System

You can install Smart Support in two ways:

  • From the official WordPress Plugin Repository (free version).
  • By uploading the premium add-on package (for advanced features).

Option 1: Install from WordPress Repository (Free Version)

  1. Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard.
  2. Go to Plugins → Add New.
  3. In the search bar, type Smart Support – Helpdesk & Ticket System.
  4. Click Install Now next to the plugin.
  5. Once installation is complete, click Activate Plugin.

Note: The free version already includes numerous features, such as ticketing, departments, priorities, and email notifications.

Option 2: Install Premium Add-ons (Advanced Features)

If you purchased Smart Support Pro or additional extensions (like WooCommerce integration, advanced triggers, or reporting tools):

  1. Download the .zip file from your account on our website.
  2. In your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
  3. Click Choose File and select the premium .zip file.
  4. Click Install Now and then Activate.

Step 3: Activate Your License Key (For Premium Add-ons)

  1. Go to Smart Support → License in your dashboard.
  2. Enter the license key provided in your purchase confirmation email.
  3. Click Activate License.
  4. Once validated, you’ll see a success message confirming premium features are unlocked.

  • The core plugin is free and can be installed directly from WordPress.org.
  • License keys are only required for premium add-ons and to receive updates/support.
  • You can upgrade anytime without losing your tickets or settings.

Congratulations! You’ve successfully installed and activated Smart Support. You’re now ready to configure settings and start managing tickets.
