How to Install and Activate the Frontend Support Add-on

The Frontend Support Add-on is an extension for the Smart Support plugin that gives your agents a dedicated frontend dashboard. This guide walks you through installing, activating, and setting it up for the first time.

💡 Tip: Always install the add-on on a staging site first if you are running a live production website. This helps avoid conflicts with existing plugins or themes.

Step 2: Create the Frontend Dashboard Page

  1. Go to Pages > Add New.

  2. Create a page with a title like Agent Dashboard or Support Desk.

  3. In the page editor, add the shortcode: [smart_support_frontend]

WP Dashboard > Smart Support > Frontend Support.

  2. Under General Settings, select the page you created (Agent Dashboard).
