How to Use the Smart Support Shortcode
Smart Support provides a powerful shortcode that lets you display the entire support system — including login, registration, ticket submission, ticket dashboard, and ticket viewing — all on a single page.
Main Shortcode
This shortcode renders the complete support portal wherever you place it. Customers can:
- Submit new tickets
- View their existing tickets
- Log in or register (if enabled)
- Track ticket status and responses
Where to Use the Shortcode
You can place the shortcode on any WordPress page or post. For best results:
- Go to Pages → Add New (or edit an existing page).
- Add a title like “Support” or “Helpdesk.”
- Search Shortcode widget
- Paste the shortcode:
- Publish the page.
Tip: Many users create a dedicated Support or Helpdesk page and link it in the main menu, so customers can easily find it.
Advanced Placement
- Elementor/Gutenberg: Use the shortcode block or widget to insert
smart_support_page (with []) - Widgets: Add the shortcode in a Text Widget to display support access in a sidebar or footer.
- Navigation Menu: Link directly to your “Support” page where you placed the shortcode.
That’s it! With just one shortcode, you can launch a complete support portal inside WordPress.
